Simply because I need it.
I need it to be able to produce my tutorials and workshops about music, sound, sound design and similar matters instead of giving more lessons as a private teacher of languages, which – economically – would serve my family and me better.

Some figures to show, what I´m talking about:
It took me 56 working hours to produce tutorial 12 about Softube´s “Modular” (the one about the Buchla 259e module). Tutorial 11 took me 37 working hours and I invested 97 working hours in producing tutorial 10 (“Rubicon”). I worked 51 hours to produce Tutorial 17 about the granular synth/effect “CrusherX” and 23 hours to produce the “Zebra” patch analysis no. 3 etc. Producing only these few examples cost me and my family 6,625 (US) dollars, which I didn´t earn giving lessons.

I want to say a big “Thank you!” to my wife, my children and my grandchildren, who don´t share my passion for music and sound - but accept it, accept my passion as well as the fact, that I have to say “no” to certain wishes perhaps more often than I had to, if I left all this music and sound thing alone and gave more lessons as a private teacher.

… should you make a donation to me?
Simply because you would like me to continue my work concerning music and sound, producing tutorials and workshops and more and bring you some more hours of having fun with sound, with VSTs and other gear and probably even giving you some information and insights, which you are interested in and which are useful for your work or helpful for you following your passion.
Why …
… do I ask for a donation from you?

How …
… to donate?
Well, click on one of the “Donate” buttons on my website and follow the easy steps. And if you want to get one of the donationware tutorials or workshops in exchange for your donation, just write it in the comments of your donation (which is one of the aforesaid easy steps), add your email and you´ll get the link to the download of the video.
How ...
… to support my work even without donating?
Sharing, linking, commenting my videos, my YouTube channels, this website, my activities. Bang the drum for it in forums, in your social media, your clubs, your circles etc. Write about your experiences with my workshops, tutorials and activities concerning music and sound.
But anyway … I thank you very much indeed even for visiting my website and especially for reading this page.

Enjoy your life!
